Prime Power Fitness wants every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse our catalogue, request a quote and order commercial strength equipment on www.primepower-fitness.com. This statement explains the standard we follow, what we have done, the limitations we know of and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

1. Our commitment

Accessibility is part of how we build and maintain the website. We review new pages and features with accessibility in mind, correct problems as they are reported to us and treat accessibility requests with the same priority as any other customer request.

2. The standard we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This target reflects the expectations of the accessibility frameworks that apply to our customers, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) in Canada and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States, as well as general best practice in the other countries where we sell.

The website is available in English, French, Spanish and Arabic, and these accessibility measures apply to all four languages.

3. Measures we have taken

  • Keyboard access: navigation menus, product pages, forms, the cart and the checkout can be used with a keyboard alone.
  • Visible focus: the element that has keyboard focus is clearly highlighted.
  • Text alternatives: product photos have text descriptions in all four site languages.
  • Colour contrast: text and interface colours have been reviewed and corrected to improve legibility.
  • Touch targets: key controls have touch targets of at least 24 pixels to make them easier to use on touch screens and for people with limited dexterity.
  • Reduced motion: when your device is set to reduce motion, animations are disabled.
  • Right-to-left layout: the Arabic version is displayed in a right-to-left layout.
  • Forms: form fields have labels, and error messages explain what needs to be corrected.
  • Display options: a light/dark display switch lets you choose the mode that is most comfortable for you.

4. Known limitations and alternatives

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Interactive 3D product viewer: the 3D viewer may not be fully usable with a keyboard or a screen reader. The same product is presented with photos that have text alternatives and with written specifications (dimensions, weights, features) on the product page.
  • Product videos: some videos may not have captions or audio description. The information they show is also available in the product photos and specifications.
  • Third-party content: some content is provided by third parties and is outside our direct control, including the secure payment page operated by Stripe and embedded maps or videos. If you have difficulty with this content, contact us and we will help you complete your request another way, for example by quote and invoice.

5. Compatibility

The website is designed to work with the recent versions of major web browsers (such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari) on computers, tablets and phones, and with commonly used assistive technologies such as screen readers and screen magnifiers. Older browsers or unusual configurations may not display every feature correctly. If you encounter a problem, tell us which browser and assistive technology you use so that we can investigate.

6. Feedback and alternative formats

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or if you need information from the website in another format (for example, product specifications, a quote, an invoice or one of our policies as plain text in an email), please contact us:

To help us respond, please describe the problem, the page concerned (its address if possible) and, if relevant, the browser and assistive technology you use.

7. Help with ordering

If you cannot complete a quote request or an order online, we can help you by email. Tell us which products interest you and your delivery country, and our team will prepare a quote, confirm prices, freight and taxes, and send you an invoice with payment instructions. You will not be disadvantaged for ordering this way.

8. Response time

We aim to respond to accessibility requests within 5 business days. If a complete answer or correction takes longer, we will let you know what we are doing and when to expect it.

9. Continuous improvement

We regularly review the website, correct the problems we find or that are reported to us, and take accessibility into account when we add new content and features. We will update this statement when significant changes are made.
