The PPF-HM97 is a plate-loaded belt squat. The load hangs from a hip belt attached to the lever, so the legs and hips work while the shoulders and spine stay free of the bar. It trains the quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings and is a popular option for lifters who want to squat heavy with less load on the back.
