The seated ab crunch trains the abdominals against a measurable, progressive load, something bodyweight crunches cannot offer. Users sit against the back pad, hook their feet under the rollers, grip the overhead handles with the chest against the pad and curl the torso forward. The red lever arm carries the weight plates, so resistance can grow as core strength improves.
