The seated shrug isolates the upper trapezius, the muscles between the neck and shoulders, and lets lifters train them heavy without holding a barbell or dumbbells. Seated against the upright back pad, users grip the red lever and elevate the shoulders straight up. Multiple grip handles offer different hand positions, and the adjustable seat helps each user line up with the lever.
